Jermaine Dye Confirms Celebrity Guests for his Fresh Start Golf Tournament
Former MLB outfielder and 2005 World Series MVP Jermaine Dye announces his confirmed celebrity guests for his Celebrity Golf Classic at the Beverly Country Club in Chicago on August 30-31 to benefit the Fresh Start Caring For Kids Foundation. The foundation transforms the lives of disadvantaged infants, children, and teens suffering from physical deformities caused by birth defects, accidents, abuse, or disease through the gift of reconstructive surgery and related healthcare services.
“I’m truly honored that so many greats and Hall of Famers will join me as we try to raise money for my charity, the Fresh Start Caring For Kids Foundation. Not only do we have some great guys but some serious golfers. For the groups participating in the golf tournament they might be a celebrity away from locking up 1st place. There are a few scratch golfers in this group and we are going to have a great time during the weekend.”

About Fresh Start
There are few things in this world more heart wrenching than a child with a physical deformity whose family simply lacks adequate health insurance or cannot afford needed medical care. Fresh Start Caring For Kids Foundation transforms the lives of disadvantaged infants, children and teens with physical deformities caused by birth defects, accidents, abuse or disease through the gift of reconstructive surgery and related medical care.
The Foundation provides no-cost medical services to patients through Surgery Weekends and clinics. Medical services are donated by doctors, clinicians and other medical professionals.
